INTRODUCTION

Composition: 2/4/14
Utility: Warlock Gates, Wind Rush, Roar

QUICK OVERVIEW

PHASE 1:

SHADOW SIDE:

Coalescing Void: Move away from bomb.
Umbral Detonation: Move to side of room to drop puddles.
Shadow’s Convergence: Avoid orbs coming towards boss.

FIRE SIDE:

Fiery Meteor: Big soak.
Molten Eruption: Multiple 1-person soaks.
Swirling Flame: Cone of tornados.

PHASE 2:

Shadow and Flame: Deals 150k dmg and applies players with random choice of fire or shadow debuff from Phase 1.

Volatile Shadowflame: When opposite debuffs touch, they explode for 100k and all stacks are cleared and players are left with a vulnerability debuff. More stacks cleared = higher debuff – (10 stacks = 100% vulnerability).

– Lust when bosses merge.
– Loosely spread for casts of Shadow and Flame
– Clear debuffs with assigned partner.
– Everybody soaks big meteor and uses assigned movement to escape (warlock gate, wind rush, roar etc.)
– Soak Convergence Eruption then quickly move to avoid swirlies.
– Never be in front of boss unless soaking.

MYTHIC MECHANICS EXPLAINED

Blazing Heat: Stacking fire debuff – Deals 2.7k damage every second per stack. Permanent until cleared.

Corrupting Shadow: Stacking shadow debuff – Deals 11k damage every 5 seconds per stack and reduces maximum hp by 1%. Permanent until cleared.

Volatile Shadowflame: When opposite debuffs touch, they explode for 100k and all stacks are cleared and players are left with a vulnerability debuff. More stacks cleared = higher debuff – (10 stacks = 100% vulnerability).

FULL FIGHT

PHASE 1:

Players will be split into 2 groups which MUST have an even number of players. Each player will be assigned a partner – this is who you will clear debuffs with.

2-4 ranged cleave specs may be positioned in the middle to maximise dps (destro/affli, spriest, boomie). All will have partners to clear with and will not leave middle (they will receive both debuffs anyway). This group will have to clear debuffs much more often than everybody else.

Fire boss = melee
Shadow boss = ranged

Boss swaps: DPS and healers will not swap sides – tanks will drag the bosses to opposite sides during the big soak/bomb mechanic. Tanks should use a defensive here and possibly receive an external as bosses will be *buffed by 200%* ß (Elemental Instability) while near to one-another. Once bosses have been swapped all players should loosely spread and then touch their partner. Personal defensives should be used when clearing.

Upon either of the bosses reaching 50%, phase 2 will begin. Bosses should try to be kept as equal as possible to minimise hp of boss in phase 2.  (one boss at 50% hp and one at 70% = phase 2 with 60%).

PHASE 2:

Similar to phase 1 players should still be loosely spread.
Watch out for ability overlaps.
*Blistering Twilight* and *Shadow and Flame* come within quick succession of one-another.

Upon application of *Shadow and Flame*, players should aim to quickly clear with a nearby oppositely debuffed player. Debuffs MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE THE SOAK.
After this there will be a *Convergent Eruption* cast – these must be soaked and then immediately moved from. Be careful of soaks in front of boss – this lines up with a tank buster frontal.

– Gate + wind rush should be used to escape the 1st conflagration.
– Movement abilities/roar on 2nd.
– Gate + wind rush will be available again on 3rd.

Rinse and repeat this until the boss is dead.
